What are the difference between XLC Ed and
XLC Pro Add-ins for MS Excel?
The two levels of functionality
are compared in this video. XLC Ed renders equations in exactly the same way as
XLC Pro but:
- XLC Ed is for educational use only and may not be
used commercially.
- XLC Ed renders 1 in 20 equations with a watermark
stating "XLC Free Educational Use Only".
- XLC Ed renders equations with a hyperlink to the
ExcelCalcs site.
- XLC Ed has a limited life and will require
reinstallation every 4 months.
An active subscription with
ExcelCalcs generates a user software release key which switches on full XLC
functionality. Provided your XLC Pro subscription is renewed XLC will continue to have
full functionality and XLC will never expire or require re-installation. If your
subscription is not renewed your copy of XLC will revert to XLC Ed
functionality. You will be warned about
renewing your subscription the first time at 60 days before expiration, then at
30 days before and finally 10 days before.
We are very grateful to users
