Description:

"ENDPLMC9.xls" is a MS-Excel spreadsheet workbook for analysis and design of 4-tension bolt and 8-tension bolt moment connections, with either a single connection on a column flange or connections on both column flanges. The AISC 9th Edition (ASD) Procedure is used. Sorry, I've been very slow to adopt the AISC 13th Edition, but unfortunately I will have to at some point. Tough to "teach an old dog new tricks" as they say. At least I know I'm not alone out there! Anyway, if nothing else, this workbook could be used for preliminary design, estimating, and checking purposes.

All the worksheets are independent and self contained, so that you can move them from one workbook to another. All the worksheets are protected, but not with a password.

Please read the "DOC" worksheet for program details as well as assumptions and limitations.
