Description:

This spreadsheet was developed to calculate the tension and sag of a wire over a wide temeprature range. Calculations such as these are required and made by utility companies before stringing new aerial transmission lines. The calculation here is based an a theory by A. C. Gholke - my effort is pretty amateurish but I'd appreciate comments from other contributors.
