I have long been a fan of the HyperPhysics site. I would like to encode their calculations into XLC format so that the calculations are more useful to ExcelCalcs members. The calculation must reference the Hyperphysics site and validate the calculation against it.

Please encode the HyperPhysics Motion page following the conventions and advisory notes set out www.excelcalcs.com/earn-your-subscription/.

Register your interest by replying and await my instruction to proceed (we don't have ten people working on the same problem). I'll upgrade or extend your existing XLC Pro (12M) subscription when you have completed the task.

I'll take a crack at encoding this John. I have been feeling a bit guilty for not buying an XLC Pro subscription because I use site and software extensively these days. The calculations look straight forward enough, it will take me back to my high school physics classes.

Now I have started work I realise it is actually quite tricky working out how to encode in Excel when a lot of the HyperPhysics material is descriptive. Can you offer any guidance?

I don't want to reproduce the HyperPhysics content, I only want to complement it. Worked examples encoded in Excel work and annotated with XLC equations is really what I am after. There are lots of web script based calculations on the site to validate your Excel calculations. Excel calculations are far more useful to us on than the relatively inflexible web script based calculations. Always include a hyperlink back to the reference material so that users can refer to HyperPhysics reference material. I hope this guidance is useful to you.

Well I have done what I can (but it does not seem like a great deal). I uploaded it to the motion area of the repository. Worksheets 'Calc1' and 'Calc2' are different uses of the equations of motion. Worksheet 'Calc3' is a relatively unsuccessful attempt to encode hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/HFrame.html. I would welcome any advice you have on how to tackle this better.
