Create a storm sewer design spreadsheet to size pipes and box culverts for site design or commercial projects provide drop down boxes for various storm events and jurisdictions calculations to be based on d b e values and have a provision to calculate the hydraulic grade line for both unrestricted and restricted water flow. Flow will be calculated by full flow in the pipe unless the HGL is below the top of pipe then it will be calculated as if it was open channel flow within the pipe.

I have been working on this for a long time now and know it would be useful.

The custom functions in the file alone are worthy of a subscription and you will see I document all functions very well.

The dbe values are readily available for other areas.

Data for the lookup tables is set up for Texas.

I created this spreadsheet to make my work easier and hopefully it helps others as well.

Try Excel 2013 for Free!

I am pleased to report that XLC Ribbon works with the 32bit and 64 bit versions of Excel 2013 obtained using the free Office 365 Home Premium Preview. Excel 2013 looks a little flat and dull compared to previous versions but I think this is the influence of the new Windows 8 'metro' look and f...
