Hi - I'm new to the forum so forgive me if I'm breaching protocols. I was trying to find a spreadsheet to sum a series of xyz forces and calculate the total moments Mx,My,Mz about a specified co-ordinate. Can anyone point me towards a solution?

Thanks, Ian

PS - even better if the applied loads are specified as a magnitude and direction co-sines

Alex Tomanovich has a good file that will do this. Download his BOLTGRP.xls calculation and use the elastic bolt group method. This will translate any force and moment to the COG of the bolt group. It is very neat and simple to use.
