Excel 2007 users.
you have a suggestion.
Save the file in Excel 2007 as a binary type.
xlsb.
This should reduce the file size. (- 28% - 30%)
4x speed will increase.
No loss of data.

This is news to me Turan especially if they actually run faster. I suppose you will have noticed the difference on some of your more computationally demanding spreadsheets like your ExcelFEM. I guess even Excel 2003 users can benefit from this format if they install the Free Microsoft Excel 2007/2010 Compatibility Pack.
