"REBARS (318M-05).xls". As the title suggests, this workbook is for the calculation of reinforcing bar development and splice lengths per the metric ACI 318M-05 Code. There are 2 calculation worksheets in the workbook.

The first worksheet is for ACI "soft metric", where the metric bar sizes are merely the rounded off metric equivalent of the traditional U.S.bar sizes. The "soft metric" bar designations used in this worksheet are #10, #13, #16, #19, #22, #25, #29, #32, #36, #43, and #57.

The second worksheet is for "European metric" reinforcing bars, where the bar size/designations represent the exact bar diameter expressed in millimeters. The "European metric" bar designations used in this worksheet are D6, D8, D10, D12, D14, D16, D20, D25, D28, D32, D40, and D50.
