XLC 0108, Excel 2002 and 2007,

1. when the variables contains Greek font character, the equation only show those character in English font rather than Greek font.

2. The SQRT top horizontal line is missing.

Hi netsonicyxf I think the program is working normally because the horizontal line is only drawn over an equation with something above and below the division line. When the equation has no division line it simply uses the sQRT symbol with brackets. See below.

When you open my excel file, do you see the a b and c use Greek font
How about those Greek font character problem ?

I might be missing your point but I have done the same thing this time using Greek characters. I am not sure if I understand your problem.
