I have a mac laptop, and would like to run XLC on my mac since i do most of work on my mac. Is there any way to get XLC to run on the mac platform?

I am afraid I am pretty ignorant about developing software for macs. I compile the software using microsoft compilers so I guess it probably won't be possible. Sorry apache405 that I cannot be of more help.

i read somewhere that function libraries are stored as modified worksheets.
if this is the case, couldn't a mac version be made by just making a folder with the library files and where they should go?
just a thought...
(I have a windows box, but it is broken right now.)

XLC is not a vba application (not a *.xla addin) it is compiled from using Microsoft visual studio, this gives it the advantage of running faster. I don't think I can compile for Macs.

I also use a Macintosh, and I joined this website because the
software looked really useful. Is the XLC software written in VBA? Assuming it is, if you could entrust a Mac user with the source code, perhaps a Mac version could be produced. If you wrote it in C or C++ and used the Windows graphics, then a conversion would be pretty hard -- for me anyway.
