Having downloaded XLC. I run the setup file and I get the error message 'Unable to register the DLL/OCX: Redsvr32 failed with the exit code 0x5.'
I am runing windows XP with Excel ver 95.

I have no problem installing this on my PC at work which has Excel 2003.

Is my Excel above too old to be supported or is it something else?

Well I am glad you managed to get the software working at work but I am afraid that XLC will not work with versions of MS Excel prior to Excel 2000 which is why you are having problems at home. This is covered in the FAQ section of the site.

Ok Sorry I did not see the FAQ's I am new here. The XLC program works Fab.

Leading on to my first question again. Can XLC work with 'Open office calcs' or does it only support MS excel?

Ivan I am glad you like XLC but I am afraid it only works for MS Excel.
