XLC installation 1 Year, 9 Months ago Karma: -1
OK, I've registered, I've downloaded and installed ExcelCalcs, and I've selected Xlc.dll using the Tools\Add-ins menu. But I don't see the ExcelCalcs toolbar anywhere. Have I missed a step?

Everything should install automatically. I just ran the installation program and started up Excel. The XLC toolbar was there and everything worked fine for me.

Thanks for reporting this problem. It appears that the installation was not working on some machines. I believe that I have corrected the problem and uploaded an fresh installation file. Would you mind downloading it again and letting me know how you get on?

I downloaded XLC -- however, I did not end up with a successful installation. I am using EXCEL 97 on Windows XP-MediaCenter edition.

I do have other add-ins installed. I don't think the existing add-ins are a problem. The problem seems to be getting XLC to register itself. I have made several attempts but no joy so far.

Please help!

I am sorry yogia the addin only works with Excel 2000 or later see FAQ's http://www.excelcalcs.com/content/view/30/89/

The reason for this is that this is when microsoft introduced VBA into Excel (visual basic for applications) and XLC uses this functionality.
