Hello all,

I am new to this forum, I just downloaded Excel Calcs today. Unfortunately, after having installed XLC_03_08 I get an error when opening excel:

Execution Error '1004' :
Add Method of AddIns class has failed.

The problem was partly discussed in another thread but this thread seemed to stop quite some time ago (program causes faults in excel & does not work). I could not get the solution from this thread.

Some observations and things I have tried so far:

The XLC tool bar is active', but when I click any of the icons on this toolbar I get linked to the "Insert Hyperlink" dialog box.

I have tried the following:
1) Install XLC_03_08 with the installer.
2) Install XLC_03_08 manually through the commander (regsvr..) as described in the readme file.
3) Select XCL.xll via tools->add-ins. I then get the error message: 'C:\Program files\XLC\XLC.xll is not a valid add-in

- My Excel version is Office 2003

Update:

I have Excel Calcs running now.

It started working probably after I de-selected all other Add-Ins from the "Tools->Add-Ins" menu. Not sure though.
