Can XLC be used to display equations in cell formulas arranged in a table of calculations?

Post edited by: Helen_Miller, at: 2007/02/16 14:20

Mmmm I don't think so. What I tend to do is use the XLC template http://www.excelcalcs.com/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,36/func,fileinfo/id,20/ and arrange calculation cells in a vertical line. I show all equations on this page. Then I copy the equation line to the right of the page across a number of columns to make a table. Take a look at a beam bending calculations http://www.excelcalcs.com/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,36/func,fileinfo/id,17/
Here I have calculated the deflection at one point and shown the calculations for this then I copy the vertical line of cell formulae to the right of the page to make a table of results for 10 points along the beam. The ten points are plotted to show the deflected shape at the end of the calculation.
In this way I have managed to display the calculation method and generate a table from this. I hope this is helpful.
