In a new sheet, the "select all shapes" function seems to always work. But on some existing sheets with various data, the function will not select the shape elements.

Can you attach a simple sample sheet with the problem. I can't seem to reproduce it here - it always works for me. As well what version of XLC and Excel are you running?
