Nice to hear from you Clyde. Basically all links and searchboxes from the ExcelCalcs site to Amazon contain a link which tells Amazon that Excelcalcs sent you there. Even if you leave Amazon and return an hour later Amazon still remembers that ExcelCalcs sent you there (I think it remembers your IP address for about 4 hours). So you can browse as long as you like on Amazon and when you make a purchase ExcelCalcs receives about 4% of it as a referral fee.
The technology does work and I am very grateful to those users who have used the links but so far I have only earned about $50 from Amazon.com £10 from Amazon.co.uk and nothing from Amazon.fr, Amazon.de and Amazon.ca
I have just launched the
Desert Island Textbooks as a way of generating relevant Amazon links to favourite textbooks. Maybe you could be the first user to add your own? I'll keep my eye out for you.
Best Regards
John
