XLC looks like a useful tool. Though one reason never got MathCAD is because presentation of formula occupies just too much space. I like hiding unnecessary formula and just showing the results, reports are simpler and easier to read, so I stay with spreadsheets. But its good to see the calculations in a familiar format, so they can be checked. But in that case I prefer to see the algebraic formula followed by substitution of the numerical values, followed by the result. At present XLC can do one or the other, so it would be a welcome improvement if it could do both simultaneously. Even so its still a good tool.
