File Compression 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have trouble every time an update for XLC is issued. The file compression utility installed on my corporation's computers is old and will not extract the files from the zip file I download from excelcalcs. The files are not so large that this file compression is absolutely necessary. Would it be feasible to incorporate another link to uncompressed files? Alternatively, can the download be a self-extracting zip file? I like the program, but the updates are exceedingly difficult for those of us with restricted permissions on our computers.

Hi roofguy sorry to hear about your zip problems. There are lots of free compression programs out there which would manage to uncompress the contents. I think that you just need to install any freeware compression software.
