This area of the Forum is Reserved for comments and discussion of specific Calculation Repository items. There is one topic for every document in the Repository. Generally authors like to receive feedback, to let them know that you value their contribution or to help them make improvements to their calculations. You might also like to make other users aware of other resources and references relating to this topic. I would encourage all users to leave some feedback when ever possible.

I really like the layout of this sheet. I have noticed 2 things which may require updating.

1. Should cells L13 and L14 use the units(kN)rather than (kips).
2. Cells E26, E91, E92, I91, I92, M91 and M92 were formatted as white text on white background.

I am using kN instead of kips on my copy and I have formatted all cells to be visible. I have included conditional formatting on cell E26 to appear only if cell E24 reads "Post-Installed".

Our company sells and installs pallet racking. All rack must be anchored to the floor, two holes are available for anchors but only 1 anchor is required. It is nice to have calulations which show that the additional anchor adds no extra capacity. The extra anchor would create a group of 2 anchors with the pullout strength (section 4) remaining the same. The anchors purpose for racking is to prevent the rack from toppling if the lift operator hits the rack.

This is a question that is raised frequently by our customers.
