I understand for the program help that you can't display equations if a cell has a value, it has to be a formula. Is there any way I can display just a number as an equation? Thanks for the help.<br><br>Post edited by: Boffin, at: 2007/02/16 14:19

XLC does not display an equation if the cell it is referencing is just a value (i.e. it has no formula). The program does this to so it is easy to differentiate between calculation inputs (usually just values) and calculation formulae.
You can over-ride this behaviour by inserting an "=" sign (i.e. instead of a cell value of "10" insert a cell formula of "=10" then you can display the formula as an equation.
