Desert Island Discs is a long-running BBC Radio 4 programme. Guests are invited to imagine themselves as castaways on a desert island, and asked to choose the eight pieces of music they would take with them; we'll do the same thing but with textbooks. By playing along you can help compile the ExcelCalcs essential textbook list. I'll add the Amazon links for you (I have some software to do this) - its just the titles I need. Aside from the books, you are also permitted to take one CD and one luxury item which must be inanimate and of no survival value.
