OpenOffice compatible? 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Aloha All,

I am delighted to find this site, it is hopefully a dream come true.

However, I have a big question, as noted in the title, is XLC and all of this generally compatible with OpenOffice's OpenDocumentSpreadsheet.ods? I am assuming it is, as everything else I've ever tried that worked in Excel has worked in OpenOffice's implementation.

The reason is I just prefer the entire attitude of OpenOffice, being it is Open Source, which seems to be the very basic nature of what this site is all about.

Hopefully all will be well.

Glad you like the site. We have no plans to support OpenOffice but I would be interested if XLC can work with it. XLC itself is not open source code.
