XLC addin for MS Excel

This Excel calculation can be downloaded by ExcelCalcs subscribers. Please login or Subscribe.

Description:

XLCin2007.png

Description - XLC software enhances MS Excel so that cell formulae can be displayed as mathematical equations and your worksheets read like textbooks.

ExcelCalcs Subscription Plans Commercial Users - If you use XLC for commercial purposes you need to pay for an XLC Pro subscription.

Installation - Download and unzip the installation file.

If you have Administrator rights on your PC
Close Excel before installation of XLC.
If you are upgrading first uninstall your existing version of XLC (Start>Programs>XLC>Uninstall XLC).
Install XLC by running "setup.exe". When you next start MS Excel you will see the XLC toolbar:
Excel 2010 & 2007 Users - Look on the ribbon under "Add-Ins".
Excel 2003 to Excel 2000 users - XLC appears as a toolbar (by default it is visible but if you can't find it check Excel's main menu View>Toolbars>XLC Tools).

If you require an administrator to install your software
Ask your administrator to install XLC following the instructions above.
IMPORTANT: To set the computer up for your user account he will also need to run "XLC User Setup.exe".

WARNING: XLC works for Excel 2000, Excel 2003, Excel 2007 and Excel 2010(32-bit version) on all Windows operating systems including 64-bit versions of Windows.  XLC does not work with Excel 2010(64-bit version). This is a common problem for all Excel add-ins (see article).  The only advantage of Excel 2010(64-bit version) is that you can access more memory and work with larger datasets. Our advice is to install Excel 2010(32-bit version) rather than loose the additional functionality brought to you by XLC and other add-ins.

Getting Started

When first installed XLC will be configed in a trial mode for full functionaity configure XLC in the XLC Pro mode. Now follow our tutorials to learn XLC.
