Description:

Description - XLC software enhances MS Excel so that cell formulae can be displayed as mathematical equations and your worksheets read like textbooks.

ExcelCalcs Subscription Plans Commercial Users - If you use XLC for commercial purposes you need to pay for an XLC Pro subscription.

Installation - Download and unzip the installation file.

If you have Administrator rights on your PC
Close Excel before installation of XLC.
If you are upgrading first uninstall your existing version of XLC (Start>Programs>XLC>Uninstall XLC).
Install XLC by running "setup.exe". When you next start MS Excel you will see the XLC toolbar:
Excel 2007 Users - Look on the ribbon under "Add-Ins".
Excel 2003 to Excel 2000 users - XLC appears as a toolbar (by default it is visible but if you can't find it check Excel's main menu View>Toolbars>XLC Tools).

If you require an administrator to install your software
Ask your administrator to install XLC following the instructions above.
IMPORTANT: To set the computer up for your user account he will also need to run "XLC User Setup.exe".

Quick Start - Go to the on-line help tutorials and you'll be displaying mathematical equations in Excel in less than 10 minutes.  On-line help tutorials.

Boffin 2007-02-16 08:07:26 I think I will be ditching MathCAD and using this instead. Then I can send my calculations to anyone then, we all have Excel whereas only a few of us have MathCAD.

It's easy to make a mistake with Excel formulas (as I know because I make them all the time) but its easy to see where you have gone wrong when you check against equations.
