Description:

The shapes contained in this database are a compilation of those listed in the current AISC "Shapes Database" CD-ROM Version 3.0 (June, 2001), as well as those listed in the AISC 9th Edition Manual of Steel Construction (1989). This spreadsheet allows one to view and compare properties for various shapes at one time. If you scroll the display to the right you will see the tabulated values of the section properties for each of the various shapes. At the request of some folks, I also added the ability to calculate and display the properties for a plate, given its user input thickness and width. The spreadsheet is protected, but not with a password.
