From today no one has to register to download content from ExcelCalcs.
So Why Register? You need to register so that you can participate
fully with the ExcelCalcs community. As a registered member:

- You can subscribe to a calculation and we'll notify you when it is changed or is corrected.
- You can keep a list of your personal favourite calculations so you can find them again quickly.

- You can upload your own calculations (and we'll love you for it).
- You have the option of subscribing to our 'getting started' emails which will get you up to speed quickly.
- You have the option of subscribing to the Excelcalcs Newsletter. Our regular email will keep you informed about new repository calculations and enhancements to XLC.
- Please note that all our emails include unsubscribe links (we hate spam too!).

I'm not much of a spreadsheet writer, but I could find nothing on the
subject of shear-friction. This is my first submittal, and I'm sure it
won't meet the submittal standards; I don't know how to add links,
etcetera. Possibly someone else could spruce it up. It is "protected"
without password as a precaution against altering formulaed cells. John

Subject To Bending and Shear - This calculation method is one I came up
with. Unfortunately I couldn't find a similar joint in any technical
reference to verify it.
