AISC-LRFD-Baseplate with Large Moment
Description
This spread sheet is useful to calculate the thickness of Base plate and check the dimensions of base plate with Column is subjected Axial Compression+Large Moment.
The Design is Based n AISC LRFD. (REference AISC-DG 1- Example 4.7 ). Small Error in Design guide is correctd. Additional check for BP thickenss for Tension included. However Pullout check is excluded because , The designer shall not satisfy with only pullout check and confirming all concrete checks are ok. A seperate concrete checks to be carriedout.
Another Goodthing about the spread sheet is clone equation is simplified and without XLC software also .I am looking for your valuable suggestion.
