XLC Ribbon with Office 365 Win 7 Trial Account 5 Years ago Karma: 0
I run a French version of Office 365 2013 under Win 7 64 bits on a Macbook Pro. I downloaded the XLC Ribbon and ran the .exe setup program. There was no errors. When I launch Excel, I cannot find any trace of the XLC Ribbon. If I tried to type the =OVD(1)/UND(2) formulae, I get a ?NAME instead of the 0,5 expected answer. What's wrong? Do I need anything else?

Yves I have just checked the XLC ribbon install with Excel 2013 and I was a little surprised when the toolbar did not appear. However when I used the Excel menu File>Options>Addins I saw that XLC was installed but was inactive. At the button of the Add-ins screen you will find Manage Excel Add-ins and a "Go" button. Hit the "Go" button then check the tickbox for XLC in the dialog that appears. That got everything working for me.

Failing that navigate to the installation directory (probably C:program Files>XLC) and open XLC.xlam this should give open things up for you and give you an option to start XLC when Excel starts. Let me know how this works out.

Thanks John for your help. The solution is effectively to check the tick box in the AddIns menu.

You provide a great support!
