Revision of the tabs J1A and J1b (introduction of the choice of the idler classes for the calculation of the power to run the empty conveyors)

The file contains 60 sheets, which, with the exception of the Summary and the Hyperlink sheets, are grouped by subject with their own letter and tab colour. Most of the subjects are related to Material Handling.

Basically, the subjects covered are:

  • Series A → Air and gas conversions;
  • Series B → Hoppers, bins, tanks calculations;
  • Series C → Operations and conversions on metric and/or imperial dimensions;
  • Series D → Screw conveyor calculation;
  • Series E → Strength of materials, beam bending, tank stiffeners;
  • Series F → Multiple-unit vehicle in a steady-state turn;
  • Series G → Circular plate sector;
  •  Series H → Triangle resolution;
  • ·Series J → Belt conveyors;
  • Series K → Stockpile and basin volumes, of all sorts;
  • Series L → Coordinate reference  system (polar and rectangular);
  • Series M → Valley angles;
  • Series N → Tables giving the densities, angles of repose and angles of surcharge for miscellaneous materials, usually downloaded from the internet;
  • Series O → Calculation of different tangents between circle (for determining the length of conveying belts and wrap angles);
  • Series P → Capacity of launders of different shape sections;
  • Series Q → Determination of discharge trajectories;
  • Series R→ Empty, formated sheets for other topic to develop.

The VBA macros are not protected. All the sheets are protected but the protection can be removed, on all the sheets at once, by a simple click on the green buttons on the summary sheet.

In the same manner, the work book is entirely bilingual (French/English) just by a simple click on the buttons on the summary sheet. The only non-bilingual parts are the revision history and the tables and images downloaded for the internet.

Also, the all the sheets can be adjusted to the screen or reduced/enlarged by a simple click on a button on the summary sheet.

Furthermore, if the work book is for a specific project, the data such as the project number and name, Client name can be entered in all the sheets via the macro activated by a click on the pink button on the summary sheet.
