Rectangular Concrete Beam Analysis/Design per ACI 318-99. I have also attached a PDF file containing example
problems run in the PCACOL program (2002) which should help demonstrate the
level of accuracy of the "Uniaxial" worksheet in the "RECTBEAM.xls"
workbook. What I did is run some examples with the "Uniaxial" worksheet using
varying percentages of longitudinal reinforcing. Taking the interaction point
results from the spreadsheet, I input those points as factored loads into the
PCACOL program. Those points are then displayed right along with the PCACOL
generated interaction curve for direct comparison.
This repository also includes
"RECTBEAM (318-05).xls" which uses the ACI 318-05 Code.
