I have long been a fan of the HyperPhysics site. I would like to encode their calculations into XLC format so that the calculations are more useful to ExcelCalcs members. The calculation must reference the Hyperphysics site and validate the calculation against it.

Please encode the HyperPhysics Trajectories page following the conventions and advisory notes set out on /earn-your-subscription/.

Register your interest by replying and await my instruction to proceed (we don't have ten people working on the same problem). I'll upgrade or extend your existing XLC Pro (12M) subscription when you have completed the task.

John, I'd be happy to try to earn a subscription by contributing on this topic. I am a structural engineer, but trajectory is a fun topic.

Just let me know what part to take on.

Thanks for your offer derekm. It would be useful to show the equations using XLC and plot it on an xy scatter graph. I would like to be able to use the XLC animator to animate the projectile.

Here is my first attempt. There is one sheet for a horizontal launch, and another for a ballistic. The animation works pretty well, but I don't have sketches for either of the sheets, yet.

Thanks Derek it's a neat calculation and you have taken the trouble to follow the upload guidelines. I have awarded you a free XLC Pro (12M) subscription. Your calculations is now located in the Repository Trajectory.xls and you can support it in the forum here.
