Description
Typical regression methods use least square methods to find a best fit to scattered data in the form of y=f(x). This spreadsheet uses similar least square methods to fit a circle to a set of X, Y data amd calculates the centroid and radius that best fits that data. Uses are in the Steel Industry for measurement of roll wear, and in metrology and microwave measurement.
